Understanding and Implementing the Drama
for Everyday Life Program at Home
This practical Parent Workshop is ideal for parents/guardians of
students attending the Drama for Everyday Life
Program. The workshop assists participants in learning
how to effectively implement the Drama for Everyday Life
Program in the home environment.
The workshop covers:
- How to play “Voice and Movement Charades” and practice
recognising and expressing facial expressions and body language
with your family;
- How to practice conversation skills at the dinner table;
- How to troubleshoot social skills;
- How to play “Ooops, sorry” and practice the use of appropriate
personal space at home;
Participants will receive:
- “Voice and Movement Charades” Kit
- Communication Poster
- Workshop Handouts
- Mini Social Skills Program Handout
- Certificate of Completion
The session will be tailored to the needs of the
participants.

Voice and Movement
Duration: 3 hours
