Professional Development Workshop
Create Your Own Mini Social Skills Program
This full day introductory workshop provides participants with
the tools to create their own Mini Social Skills Program using role
play and drama techniques.
The workshop includes how to identify and break down social
interactions and tailor them to suit students’ particular
needs. It also covers how to set up and use role play most
effectively in teaching those social skills.
Participants will be invited to troubleshoot specific issues
they may be experiencing with students/clients.
The workshop consists of practical individual and group
exercises to assist participants in learning the skills. Assessment
tasks will be delivered, along with certificates of completion at
the conclusion of training. Handouts and resources will also be
provided.
Follow up support will also be made available to participants
should they require assistance in the implementation of the new
skills.
