Welcome to Voice and Movement
Voice and Movement provides a
range of unique and comprehensive programs designed to assist
people in developing social skills and self confidence through
specialised drama techniques.
Our flagship program, the Drama
for Everyday Life Program, assists children, adolescents and
adults in developing social skills and self confidence through
specialised drama techniques, such as, role play, drama games and
improvisation.
The Drama for Everyday Life
Program is a structured and comprehensive program that covers
many areas including conversation skills; how to make and maintain
friendships; and recognising non-verbal cues, such as body
language. The program is tailored to meet the needs of the
individual and can cover areas as diverse as job interview skills,
oral presentations and general manners.
While the Drama for Everyday
Life Program was originally designed to meet the needs of
people with Asperger’s Syndrome and High Functioning Autism, the
program can benefit any person who may be experiencing social
difficulties, such as those with mild intellectual disability,
social anxiety, language disorders or ADHD.
